I have this intense craving for macarons.

No, I didn't misspell that. I do mean macarons, not macaroons.
Anyway, after asking around on Facebook (thanks Dewi, Aneesa and Sha!), I now know of three places where I can get macarons, for various prices. I also found a place in Solaris Dutamas.
So next, I'm going to venture out to these shops and buy me a few (or more, you know...) and compare the macarons from these different places.
But I won't stop there: after sampling the macarons, I wanna have a go at it myself. And THEN I'll see how it compares.
Muhammad Edwan VS Macarons of Klang Valley starts now. Wish me luck though as I'm absolutely terrible at making confectionery and pastries and desserts.
And as a side note, expect to see more of these 'chef quests'.

dunno if you heard this before, but Ayesha from http://ga-teaux.blogspot.com/ makes yummy macarons from what I've heard. Tapi she spells it as macaroons though. And she's home-based, so if you want you have to order. Maybe you can give her a try if you want.
