Macaron Hunt: Nathalie's Gourmet Studio

---

Hello again!
In a previous post, I mentioned how I was going to go on a macaron hunt. And the hunt is officially on. The first place I had the chance to go to was Nathalie's Gourmet Studio.

Apparently it's a place to dine AND learn cooking, and it's run by a Chef Nathalie, who runs cooking classes and also serves meals at this very pretty looking place in Solaris Dutamas.

But that's a story for another day. I came here because they had MACARONS.

According to this image I found on Google Image Search, a perfect macaron is like this:

The macarons from NGS came in a lot of different flavors. From the run of the mill vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, they also had pistachio, lime, lemon etc. Brush up on your French though because that's how they list down the flavors. I definitely needed to ask plenty of times what was what.

But boy were they delicious. Deceptively light, with thin shells and creamy, sweet interiors. The flavors were nice too. Lime, orange and raspberry were wonderful. All of them were, in fact.

So a good start to my macaron hunt? Definitely. But the macarons at NGS run ar RM4.40 a piece, which is very expensive in my book. A box of 15 macarons cost me RM66.

On to the next macaron shop!
